2016 Official Opening Day Celebration

On Saturday, May 7th the OTLBC opened it's doors from the 2016 season! Thank you to all who came out, including MPP for Ottawa Centre Yasir Naqvi who announced the OTLBC received $20,000 from the Province to go towards our Capital Fund!

OTLBC Wine Fundraising Event

Hosted at the Vendange Institute, a select amount of 25 tickets were sold to help raise funds for the OTLBC Capital Fund. Thank you to all who cam out, you helped us raise $2,000 for the Capital Fund!

Grease: the Fabulous 50s Closing Party

On Saturday, September 26 the OTLBC flashed back to the 50s and was transformed into the Grease Lightning Dinner and Dance Floor. There was plenty of finger foods, Root Beer Floats, Homemade treats and dance moves to keep the night going. Thank you to all who came out to celebrate the end of season!

2015 Pool Closing Party

At some point every season there comes a time when we have to say goodbye to the OTLBC pool. BUT, we celebrate the end of season with a BBQ and games by the pool!

Music Series 2015: Juno Nominated Amanda Rheaume

This season the OTLBC tried something NEW! We've brought Juno recognized artists to the club for rare and intimate concerts. We have food specials as well as tournament playoffs during the concerts and the Club saw a lot of the community as well as members come out! Join us next season!

Fred Wong Memorial BBQ 2015

The annual Fred Wong Memorial BBQ supports the Ottawa Food Bank and celebrates the life and passion of Fred Wong. Held at the OTLBC every summer, the BBQ sees dishes inspired by Fred Wong and helps to raise money and food donations for the Ottawa Food Bank

Club Singles & Intermediate Doubles Tournament

The 2015 Club Singles Tournament and the Intermediate Doubles Tournament were held from July 3-8 at the OTLBC. We saw some great tennis and event had some ball girls for the first time! Congratulations to Rolf Krantz and Huiping Iler on winning the Men's and Women's Club Singles. Congratulations to Mike Sawyer and Mike Dixon, and Huiping Iler and Aileen Larking on their wins in the Men's and Women's Intermediate Doubles

On Tuesday July 1st, the OTLBC newly renovated pool was busy as a ton of families came out to celebrate Canada's 147th birthday with us! There were games, prizes, a BBQ, face painting even cookie decorating!

Heritage Ottawa Lecture at the OTLBC

On June 18, the OTLBC hosted Heritage Ottawa for the final installment of this season’s lecture series, “There’s No Place Like Home: How a Tennis Club Found and Kept a Home Against All Odds”. Janet Uren, professional writer and local history specialist, presented an overview of the club’s history, while Kris Benes, of Open Plan Architects, reviewed the approach and the plans for the clubhouse restoration.
