Why Become an OTLBC Sponsor?
The Ottawa Tennis & Lawn Bowling Club is one of the hidden treasures of the nation’s capital. Our “cottage in the city” provides a complete summer experience that includes tennis, swimming, beach volleyball, dining and relaxation.

The charming OTLBC clubhouse is a vintage jewel in Old Ottawa South. The facilities include locker and shower rooms, meeting space, lounge area, large dining room and the balcony of the Cameron Avenue Café overlooking the action on the courts. We are the oldest summer tennis club in Ottawa, with a full service restaurant, 18 har tru courts, 10 beach volleyball courts, and an in-ground swimming pool.

The Club operates as a not-for-profit organization. OTLBC membership revenues cover all operating and regular maintenance expenses excluding large capital investments. To maintain the facility in top condition, money is needed for court resurfacing, clubhouse upgrades and major pool repairs.

Sponsorship revenue is used to support capital projects.

 What’s in it for You?

  • Businesses that are aligned with sports and leisure or provide sports medicine, physiotherapy, massage, or other wellness products and services will find a rich market at the OTLBC.
  • Other businesses that provide financial, legal, real estate, construction, or interior design services will also find synergies with this market.

OTLBC Member Demographic

  • 1000 tennis and pool members (educated and affluent professionals, families and retirees)
  • Residents of Old Ottawa South, the Glebe, Golden Triangle, Sandy Hill, with some members from Westboro Village, Orleans, Barrhaven, and Kanata neighborhoods
  • 350+ children ages 6-13 enjoy the club’s full-day camps each summer
  • 2000+ young professionals ages 20-35 visit OTLBC each week to play volleyball on our 10 beach volleyball courts (leagues run by the Ottawa Sports and Social Club)
  • The OTLBC web site has over 41,000 unique visits per year with strong visitor engagement (66% returning traffic with an average duration of 3 minutes)

The OTLBC also has a strong non-member circulation:

  • Our full-service licensed café is open to the public, and has a vibrant social scene available to community members (weekly Wednesday pub nights, Friday night family BBQs, an annual Fashion Show and the Summer fundraising gala).
  • Our summer camps are open to non-members allowing parents from across Ottawa to come to the club daily throughout the summer.

The OTLBC strives to help the Community:

The OTLBC hosts a variety of social events throughout the season that allow our members and the surrounding community to support local charities. Our annual Fred Wong Memorial Barbecue helps to raise money and donations for the Ottawa Food Bank and has been a fundraising event at the OTLBC since 2007.

The OTLBC also helps to support the May Court Hospice, the Caring and Sharing Exchange and The Hang Up and Help Out Project, among others.
