Drop In Fitness

Starting August

Flexible Fitness - pay week by week.

  • Tennis Fitness - coming soon with the Noble Tennis School
  • Yoga
Join us both on the court and in our Wellness Room to make sure you're ready for the tennis season. We'll be running cardio based tennis hitting sessions with our qualified coaches (you'll hit a ton of balls and get a sweat on) with yoga to stay flexible. Within the tennis sessions, you'll both be on the court hitting balls and getting your heart up and off the court doing dryland training drills geared to build tennis specific strength, power and agility.
  • Family Fitness Friday
Have fun with Anna from www.playjoyful.com.  Come on your own or with your kids (ages 10 and older).  Children under 14 come for free.  One free child per adult.  All children should be accompanied by an adult.  Classes will change but we start with:

    FOOTLOOSE!      A FAMILY DANCE PARTY
Summer’s here…time to dance! This all-ages dance party will see us step, spin and samba through different themes each class! Let’s get nostalgic as we dance through the decades, wind it up for Carnival, and get some Top of the Pops to celebrate the biggest hits. No dance experience required…good vibes only!

  • Aquafitness
Fun in the pool with Anna from www.playjoyful.com.  45 minutes of aqua fun in the pool.  A great way to get fit, stay fit.  For ages 14 and over.

Anna is a local Personal Trainer, Group Fitness, Pilates, Yoga, Nordic Pole, Dance instructor and Founder of Play! Joyful Fitness.  www.playjoyful.com

Although Anna’s fitness career kicked off in 2006, she’s also been known to travel the world working for Club Med and Viva Resorts to helping to run a teddy bear company in the UK and a small inn on the Isle of Sark in the English Channel (for a very short time, as it was much too quiet for her).  The past number of years have seen “Hurricane Anna” as she became known – ask her why! – opted to settle down in Ottawa and established herself as a fixture in the fitness scene.

If you’ve worked enough on your cardio, you might catch Anna teaching at various locations across the city, and with varying populations, including newcomers to Canada, older adults, pre and postnatal clients and even young children at the Montessori Schools.
