OTLBC Junior Programs
2024 Junior Programs will open for Registration on April 8th 2024, at 9am
The OTLBC uses a progressive tennis system, which is the international standard for teaching juniors, and is sanctioned by Tennis Canada. Progressive tennis helps young children learn on a smaller court, with smaller racquets, and softer balls. This method of teaching allows children to develop their skills progressively. For older juniors, or more experienced younger juniors, we develop their skills on a full court, with full-sized racquets and regular balls. Our goal for all our junior programs is to make tennis a sport to enjoy for life.

Let's Play! (Ages 4-10) - Saturdays from 2:00-3:00pm
Volunteer members lend their time to organize this introductory tennis program for juniors. By using junior-sized racquets, red balls and mini nets, junior players are set up for success. Fun is the foundation as skills are built through play. Participants will be grouped by age; the “Aces” (4 – 6 years of age); and the “Smashers” ( 7 – 10 years of age). Parental participation is encouraged, so be ready to bring your “A” game!
