The Pool at the Ottawa Tennis & Lawn Bowling Club
The OTLBC offers a lovely 75’ x 35’ pool in a beautiful setting by the Rideau River. The pool is available for everyone; the fee is included in all tennis membership options. Pool-only memberships are available for those who just want to swim and lounge. There is one adult lap-lane and many fun pool toys for everyone.

Pool Events
The pool opens on Thursday June 9th. Join us for the annual Pool Opening Party on Saturday June 11th at 11:00am. (Rain date is June 12th.) Meet your 2011 Lifeguard team, and join us for games, prizes and snacks. Rain date is Sunday June 5th.
Our annual Canada Day Pool Party is July 1 from 11am - 1pm.
Hours of Operation
Daily: 9 am to sundown, except Saturdays to 7pm. Pool hours are always weather permitting.
The pool's open/closed status is updated on the Member's Page on a regular basis. Standard safety regulations require that all swimmers exit a pool following thunder or lightening; re-entry is permitted after 30 minutes free of lightening or thunder.
Adults Only Pool Time
Monday to Thursday (excluding statutory holidays) 5:30 - 6:30 pm. During this time, no children are permitted in the pool enclosure. The adult pool time is designed for members and guests 19 years and over. For lap swimming purposes only, any member 14 years and over wishing to swim laps may use the pool during these designated times. These "adult swim privileges" for a junior must be approved by a manager.
If adults-only pool time is underutilized, the OTLBC may review the policy and change it upon short notice to members.
Family Swim
The lap-lane may be removed at 7pm Mondays through Fridays and after 1pm on weekends and statutory holidays. Babies and toddlers must wear proper swim diapers in the pool.
Lifeguard Duty Policy
The pool is guarded during all pool hours from June 28 through to Labour Day. The pool is guarded less frequently at other times at the start and end of the season. There may be times that the pool is open and a life guard will not be on duty, which will be clearly posted.
