Tennis Tournaments
The Ottawa Tennis & Lawn Bowling Club organizes a number of member-only club tournaments throughout the tennis season. Additionally the OTLBC also hosts a variety of open public tournaments. These tournaments provide:
- An opportunity to compete against your fellow members in a social setting
- A great way to put your tennis skills to the test
- A great way to meet new friends
Entry details for each tournament will be posted on the bulletin boards at the club as well as on this website. You can register for all club tournaments at the Front Desk, and additional information will be available on this page closer to the events.

OTLBC Pierre Despatie Memorial - June 19-22 2008
The 2008 OTLBC Pierre Despatie Memorial Tennis Tournament - now in its fifth year - will prove to be another excellent event. Our good friend Pierre Despatie, a long-time OTLBC member, an avid athlete and tennis player passed away several years ago. The tournament is run to remember him and to raise money for a very deserving charity, Search and Rescue Global 1 (SAR Global 1).

OTLBC Intermediate Singles and Doubles Championships - July 4-9 2008
The Intermediate Championships provide an event for players who are not competitive in the Club Championships or NCTA open tournaments, but who want to experience playing under tournament conditions. This year, four of the five traditional events will be featured, and if sufficient entries are received we will run consolation events to provide the greatest number of players an opportunity to compete. The Intermediate Mixed Doubles Tournament will be held later in the season, starting on Sept 6th.

OTLBC Club Singles and Doubles Championships - August 8-13 2008 (Register Now)
The Club’s top players battle for the title of Club Champion and to see their names engraved on the permanent trophies. Champions will be crowned in men's and women's singles and doubles events. The Club Mixed Doubles Tournament will be held later in the season, starting on Sept 6th.

National Capital Tennis Association (NCTA) City Open - August 16-24 2008
The 2008 National Capital Tennis Association (NCTA) City Open Championships will again be hosted at the OTLBC.

OTLBC Club Junior Championships - August 25-27 2008
This year's club junior championships will offer both novice and intermediate mixed divisions, with the opportunity to compete, have fun and win some great prizes! This was the junior event of the season last year, and this year’s tournament promises to continue in that vein!

OTLBC Intermediate and Club Mixed Championships - September 6-7 2008
This season we've saved the best for last. Mixed doubles teams will compete in both the intermediate and club championships over one weekend in September. End the tournament season on a fun note!
