Your Cottage in the City
Located in the heart of Old Ottawa South between Brewer Park and the Rideau River, the Ottawa Tennis & Lawn Bowling Club is one of the hidden treasures of the nation’s Capital. The OTLBC provides a complete summer experience that includes tennis, swimming, volleyball, dining and relaxation.
The Ottawa Tennis & Lawn Bowling Club offers 18 Har-Tru clay tennis courts, 12 of which are lit for night play; 12 beach volleyball courts, 2 newly added in 2017; a lifeguarded outdoor swimming pool; and a restaurant on site in our historic clubhouse.
With this many tennis courts, we are able to offer a variety of daily round robins, ladders, competitive leagues and expert tennis coaching for both adults and juniors. Our tennis membership includes full access to the courts: there are no additional court fees in our court booking procedures. We also offer pool-only memberships that includes full access to our swimming pool and limited access to our beach volleyball courts.
Join us this summer, and experience for yourself why we call the OTLBC Your Cottage in the city.
The Best Outdoor Pool in The City
The OTLBC facilities include a large 75′ x 35′ pool in a beautiful setting by the Rideau River. Perfect for cooling down during our hot Ottawa summers, access to the pool is included in all tennis and pool-only memberships.
12 sandy courts offer members the chance to hit the beach in the heart of the city! We offer limited use of our beach volleyball courts as the Ottawa Sport and Social Club has use of them Monday – Friday from 6-10pm. But when the courts are unoccupied by OSSC, they are all yours! It’s a great idea for birthday parties, corporate events and friendly tournaments!

The facilities include locker and shower rooms, racquet stringing, meeting spaces, lounge areas, large dining room and the best balcony in Ottawa South overlooking the action on the courts, making our clubhouse a perfect venue for special events, weddings, business meetings and so much more.
