2025 Summer Camps & LIT Program

Camp runs Monday to Friday from 9am to 3:30pm.
All Camps will swim once per day in our Outdoor Pool (pending inclement weather)
Camp Lunch
Make lunchtime effortless! Add a week of nutritious, kid-friendly lunches, prepared by our dedicated Camp Chef—saving you time and stress!
Members: $50 per camper/week [$40 per 4-day week]
Non-Members: $60 per camper/week [$50 per 4-day week]
Example Menu (Includes: Juice Box, Fruit/Vegetables, and Sweet daily):
Monday - Grilled cheese sandwiches and garden salad
Tuesday - Potato and cheddar perogies, sour cream, apple sauce, and steamed vegetables
Wednesday - Tomato vegetable penne with meatballs (or without)
Thursday - Hotdogs/ veggiedogs, salad and fries
Friday - Pizza

Unleash your child’s energy, curiosity, and creativity with our Active Explorers Camp! This camp focuses on the foundation of confident and joyful movement.
Through exciting games, group challenges, and engaging activities, campers will develop the core components of physical Literacy:
Knowledge and Understanding: Learning the importance of staying active and how movement benefits their health. Gain an introduction to racket sports and the sport of tennis.
Motivation: Discovering the joy of movement through fun, age-appropriate activities. (e.g. Treasure Hunts, Dance Parties, etc.)
Confidence: Building self-assurance in their physical abilities through encouragement and success. (e.g. Obstacle Course, Follow the leader, etc.)
Physical Competence: Developing essential coordination, balance, and motor skills in a supportive environment. (e.g. Tag, Catch, Beanbag toss challenges, etc.)
Led by our FANTASTIC counsellors, Active Explorers creates a nurturing space where kids can grow their skills, build friendships, and spark a lifelong love for movement, play and hopefully the sport of tennis.

Ace & Adventure Camp (Age 8-13)
Serve up an unforgettable summer, where kids build friendships, learn new skills, and create lasting memories!
Each day is packed with fun and excitement including:
Structured Tennis Sessions: Led by experienced counsellors, campers improve their skills on the court, including learning the fundamentals
Team Challenges and Sports: Enjoy activities like soccer, Beach volleyball, and cooperative games that promote fitness, teamwork, and fair play.
Creative and Active Adventures: Engage in scavenger hunts, obstacle courses, and problem-solving games designed to inspire creativity and movement.
This camp is designed to help children develop further skills, confidence, and motive to engage in physical activity for life! Our counselors create a safe, fun, and supportive environment that encourages participation, fair play, and skill development. Through engaging activities and quality instruction, campers stay active, build self-esteem, and create memories to last a lifetime.

Beach Volleyball Clinic (Age 11-14) [Week 6 and 10 ONLY]
BUMP, SET, SPIKE or DIVE into the summer with our Beach Volleyball Clinic Camp! This exciting program is designed for young athletes looking to enhance their skills and improve their game.
Led by Qualified Coaches, this clinic focuses on:
Skill Development: Build and refine essential techniques like serving, passing, setting, blocking, and spiking through focused drills.
Game Strategy: Enhance your understanding of court positioning, teamwork, and tactics for beach volleyball.
Strength and Agility: Build physical fitness and coordination with exercises designed to improve speed, balance, and power on the court.
This clinic is only available for two weeks this summer. Don’t miss your chance!!

Creative Minds Camp (Age 8 to 11)
For kids who are more inspired by creativity than competition, our Creative Minds Camp is the perfect place to explore new artistic passions and unleash imagination. This camp offers a fun and supportive space for children who love drawing, crafting, and other hands-on projects.
Campers will enjoy:
Drawing and Painting: Experiment with different techniques, colours and styles to create their own artwork.(e.g. Acrylic/Oil/Watercolour paint, Pastels, etc.)
Craft Making: Engage in exciting craft projects, from DIY creations to artistic sculptures, using a variety of materials. (e.g. papier mâché, etc.)
Physical Activity: Enjoy a variety of fun outdoor games, team challengers, and swim time to stay engaged and active after creative sessions.
Home Base is the OTC Trillium Cottage, which provides a quiet, focused space for campers to explore their creativity.

NTS All Stars Tennis Camp (Age 9 to 13)
The goal of the All-Stars Camp is to stoke enthusiasm, exposing kids to the joy of playing the game, as they master the rules and develop the sportsmanship, skills and focus it requires. Under the guidance of Noble Tennis School (NTS) Director Carlo Zambri, this camp features morning and afternoon tennis segments. There is a maximum of 4 players per court, to allow for realistic opporutunites of practice and play. This camp includes tennis-oriented fitness through off-court activities, as well as a daily swim in the OTC outdoor pool.

Leaders In Training (Ages 14-16)
This program provides young individuals with a unique hands-on opportunity to gain real-life experience and develop valuable skills for success. It is designed for those looking to build leadership qualities and prepare for the future.
Participants in our LIT (Leaders in Training) program will gain valuable leadership skills and hands-on experience while earning 40 volunteer hours—perfect for school or community service requirements!
LIT Participants will:
Work alongside Summer Camp Staff: Assist with planning and executing engaging lesson plans while gaining practical experience in camp management.
Engage in Career Development: Take part in mock interviews, resume writing workshops, and skill building exercises to prepare for the professional world.
Complete Essential Training Courses: Receive valuable certifications in WHMIS, Worker Health and Safety Awareness, AODA, and other relevant courses.
Through role-playing scenarios and real-world work experiences, the LIT program equips participants with the tools and knowledge needed to thrive in a leadership role. By taking on responsibilities, building professional skills, and learning key workplace concepts, LITs are prepared to face opportunities and challenges in future careers with confidence and competence.

- Summer Camps
- Refunds will be provided up to 14 days prior to the start of the camp. Refunds are subject to a $40 admin fee per child, per week of camp. (This fee is waived if left as an account credit).
- No Refunds, Credits or Transfers within 14 days of the camp start date, unless supported with medical documentation.
- All Cancellation and Refund request must be in written form and sent to info@otlbc.com. Refunds are issued to the same method of payment, if possible.
- Camper Pick-Up Policy
- Parents/Guardians who are late picking up their child(ren) will be charged a fee of $15 per 15 minutes. This fee will be reapplied every 15 mins. (For example: A pickup up between 5pm and 5:15pm = $15 fee, A pick up at 5:17pm = $30 fee.)
Swimming Pool – Life jacket policy
- All children six (6) and under MUST have a life jacket in the pool
- Campers seven (7) and up MUST take a Swim Test* unless wanting to wear a life jacket: Swim Test Criteria: Ability to swim one length uninterrupted and alone, AND tread water in the deep end for 1 minutes. OTLBC Lifeguard must conduct a swim test.
- Campers fall into one of three categories:
- Green: Level 1 – Passed the swim test and is wearing a wristband – PERMITTED IN DEEP END
- Amber: Level 2 – Did not pass the complete test - give a band to swim in the shallow end without a life jacket – shallow end only
- Red: Level 3 – Test not taken or failed – life jackets required – shallow end only
Rain Day Policy
Due to the nature of clay tennis courts, they are not playable when there is excessive standing water. During such times campers will utilise our new multi-use games area, beach courts, pool and indoor spaces. Appropriate activities will be delivered to challenge and keep campers engaged during rain periods.
In the event of a storm (e.g. thunder and lightning), campers will be in our indoor spaces. During such times, due to space constrictions campers’ activities will be structured but not as active as outdoor activities.
Every effort will be made to keep campers engaged and having fun in a safe environment at all times.
