Yoga
Yoga Kāla returns for a third season at OTLBC!
All classes are inclusive regardless of experience and offer a welcoming environment! Teachers will provide guidance and variations to ensure you have a safe and pleasant session. Classes will take place outdoors by the OTLBC pool or inside the newly renovated wellness room.
2023 Schedule
All classes are booked through the Yoga Kāla website and take place at OTLBC.
Saturdays, 8:30 - 9:30 am — Yoga for Strength
May 13 – August 26, outdoor class by the pool
(no class May 20 and June 3)
This class will help you improve your functional balance through progressive and creative strength-building sequences, core work and focused movement. Options will be offered to ensure a practice that is challenging for your own energy level and to help progressively build your yoga practice.
Tuesdays, 7:00 - 8:00 pm — Slow Flow Yoga
May 16 – June 20 in the Wellness Room
This class will help you slow down! A slow flow class connects mindful movement and breath to help you stay focused and present. Postures are sequenced gently and slowly so that one flows easily and creatively to the next. We will work on range of motion, balance, strength, flexibility and mindful breathing.
Wednesdays, 7:30 - 8:15 am — Mid-Week Wake-Up!
May 17 – August 30, outdoor class by the pool
This class will prepare your body and mind for the day! We will progressively wake up and energize the entire body with seated, standing and floor-based movement. Options will be offered so that this practice is truly your own.
Thursdays, 7:30 - 8:30 pm — Half & Half (Hatha & Yin)
May 18 — June 22 in the Wellness Room
This class combines the best of yoga. The first half of the class will offer a sequence of postures that are held a bit longer, allowing time to explore options and settle into your body and breath. We will wind down with a few yin postures to target and release the body’s connective tissues. This practice will help calm the mind and settle the nervous system.
