JUL 11 to JUL 12, 2026 ITF Beach Tennis

OTC will be hosting the ITF Beach Tennis Tournament. Be sure to stop by and check out Dan Vila from 613BT as he plays in this tournament. OTC, with 613BT, offers Beach Tennis Match Play and Clinics from May to September. Check out all out Adult Programs, including Beach Tennis Options HERE!

JUL 27 to AUG 03, 2026 Bloomex Cup

Categorized as a 4-star tournament, The Bloomex Cup provides a meanigful competitive opportunity for U12 to U18 athletes leading up to the Junior Nationals, and an additional opportunity to gain direct entry into the Junior Nationals main draw. 

AUG 23 to AUG 29, 2026 Steve Stevens Masters Tennis Championships

Organized and run by Tennis Canada, the 2026 Steve Stevens Masters Tennis Championships will be hosted across several Ottawa clubs, including the OTC. Formerly known as Canada’s Annual Outdoor National Tournament, it was renamed in 2010 to honour Steve Stevens, who transformed Masters tennis in Canada. His unmatched passion for the sport helped build Canada into a leading home for top Masters players.

General information
  •  $20 +HST per person (singles or doubles). $25 +HST per person for WOMENS DOUBLES. Balls are provided.
  • Players must indiate their playing level according to the Tennis Canada Self Rating Guide (English / French)
    • ​This assists the Volunteer coordinator to place you in the appropriate category, INTERMEDIATE or CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP
  • Schedule
    • Inital rounds are played on Courts 13-18 (Back Courts).
    • Semi-final and final matches are played on Courts 10-12 (Front Courts)
  • Players are responsible for calls on their side of the net, and the opposing player/team must accept their decision. If there is any doubt, normal etiquette is to give the opponent the benefit of the doubt. Players should avoid replaying a point, though this is an option if both sides agree.  
Match format

ALL MATCHES UP TO THE SEMIS
Two regular sets with AD scoring, regular 7 point tie breaker at 6 all for each set.  If the first two sets are split, a deciding 10 point super tie breaker is played that determines the winner.

SEMIS AND FINAL
Best of three regular sets, AD scoring.  At 6 all in any set, a regular 7 point tie breaker is played 

"AD scoring” refers to the system used to determine the winner of a game when the score reaches deuce (40-40), requiring players to win two consecutive points to secure the game.
"Super tie breaker": the winner is the first to reach 10 points, winning by 2 points.
