Our Tennis Pros

Welcome to the OTLBC!

We are proud to announce our NEW 2017 Tennis Professionals. See who below!

The OTLBC is proud to announce the appointment of our new Head Pro for this season, 11-time Canadian National Champion and 14-time Ottawa City Champion, Colin McAlpin.

“Colin is well known to us here at the OTLBC. His international playing experience, coaching style and perspective on the game are a great asset to OTLBC members and the local tennis community.” said outgoing Head Pro, Peter Sutcliffe.

“I’m really excited to return to the Ottawa Tennis and Lawn Bowling Club this summer”, added Colin “and recognize the hard work Peter has done over the years for the club as a volunteer and a tennis professional.”

We are by no means saying goodbye to Peter, as he will continue to be a member and supporter of the club. As he says, “I am transitioning from being the head pro to being the head cheerleader!”

We are proud of our association with Peter Sutcliffe and the legacy of excellence that he has helped to build; and we are pleased that he has passed the torch to such a worthy successor.

Stay tuned to learn more about Nick Patterson and Kasia Poplawski, who will be assisting our Tennis Professional Team with our Group Clinics.
