Tennis Tournaments

The Ottawa Tennis & Lawn Bowling Club organizes a number of member-only club tournaments throughout the tennis season. We also host two public tournaments: the Pierre Despatie Memorial Tournament and the NCTA City Championships, as well as an Ottawa High School Tournament every season.

Entry details for each tournament will be posted on the bulletin boards at the club as well as on this web page. Additional information will be available on this page closer to the events. For more details, call 613-730-7207

The OTLBC Red Ball Tournament
Saturday, May 20

OTLBC’s Davis Cup
Saturday, May 27 1-3 pm

Please register at the front desk before Wednesday, May 24th at 9pm. Adults are $15 and Juniors (11+) are $10. There will be 1 junior per team and this event is a members only event. Names will be drawn on Thursday of that week to pick Captains and teammates. There will be 6 people per team with a cap of 4 teams.

Dress as your teams chosen country – either Canada, Australia, Spain or France – and enjoy some appetizers at the Royal Oak afterwards.

OTLBC Mixed Doubles
Friday – Sunday, 16-18 June 2017 (Rain date: 23-25 June 2017)

Mixed doubles teams will compete in the Intermediate Championships to kick off the tournament season. More details will be available closer to the 2017 season. Need a partner? No problem – check in with our tournament director closer to the tournament date.

Intermediate Players please check out the Intermediate Eligibility details. Both players must qualify as intermediate in order to enter the intermediate category.

The 12th Annual Pierre Despatie Memorial Tournament
Friday – Tuesday, 2-6 June 2017

This tournament is held in honour of our good friend Pierre Despatie, a long-time OTLBC member, avid athlete and exceptional tennis player. Your participation in this tournament helps to keep Pierre’s memory alive and raise much needed funds for a very deserving charity,
 Ottawa Volunteer Search and Rescue.

OTLBC Intermediate Singles & Doubles Championships
Friday-Sunday, 14-16 July 2017

More details will be available closer to the 2017 season. There will be a men’s and a women’s event in both singles and doubles. Please check the Intermediate Eligibility details.

National Capital Tennis Association (NCTA) City Championships
Friday-Sunday, 18-27 August 2017

The OTLBC is proud to host the National Capital Tennis Association (NCTA) City Championships. More details will be available closer to the 2017 season.

NCTA membership is required for entry, and can be purchased online from their website. Membership in the NCTA supports local tennis and offers a number of benefits including participation in interclub leagues, city tournaments and discounts at local vendors.
